Panta Ilish is a best traditional food for Bangladeshis. Nowadays, people consider it a conventional food not only in Bangladesh but also all over the world. Panta Ilish is delicious. We enjoyed it during the Bangole month and Which was named Boishakh, especially in a Pohela Boisakh. The pleasure of eating Panta Hilsa is something that only Bengalis know. That’s why Bengalis cannot forget this food.
Elements For Panta Ilish:
We have to make fermented rice. The rest of the rice soaked in a long night of water is called Fermented Rice. To make the best dish of Panta Ilish, we first need fermented rice. After the rest of the rice is soaked in a long night of water, it is called fermented rice.
Then we collect some also fish. To make the best dish on the Pantha list, we must collect fresh Irish fish, whose scientific name is Hilsa Ilsha. We also need to collect some other materials, such as Mustard oil, green chillies, onions, Curcuma salt, garlic, etc. Then we can go to make Elisha and make our food easier.

How do we make it?
By soaking the rice after eating it at night, we can collect it in an appropriate disk.
Then, we should fry or grill the pieces of Hilsa Fish in a cooker.
Then, we decorate the fried fish, permanent rice, Salt, Mustard oil, Onions, Green Chilies, and dry Chilies in a good disk.
Many people also make dried stuffing, and some Make potato stew. Everything comes together to create a delicious Bengali dish.
Why is This Cultural Celebrated?
There are many reasons why we celebrate—-
Firstly, from ancient times, The Starving women in Hindu Religion starved on the last day of the Bengali month, Chaitra. They held a Worship named “Chaitra Sankranti.” On the following day of “Chaitra Sankranti,” they Destroyed their strive by taking Panta.
Secondly, in the village, Bengali celebrate 1st day of the Bangla year by taking Panta Ilish.
Thirdly, in time off, Emperor Akbar first started the Pohela Boishakh Celebration.
Serving of Panta Ilish:
We distribute the decorated disk of fried fish, Permanent Rice, Salt, Mustard oil, Onions, and Green/Dry Chilies to our family members. Moreover, these foods are now available in hotels, restaurants and at various events. Most of them are prepared on Pohela Baishakh. There is a lot of demand for food on the first day of Baishakh. Therefore, Panta Hilsa has to be bought at a high price.

It removes gastrointestinal problems. Hilsa fish satisfies our nutritional and protein needs, and dried fish meets many of our nutritional needs.
